It's all about the porn

We downloaded Cameron Diaz' porn video last night. We were both a little disappointed, I have to say. We did not find it shocking at all, I don't know what all the fuss is about. She has this leather outfit with her breasts exposed and along with another chick they're in this photo shoot with some dude.

This weekend seemed too short... I've been so tired with work lately that weekends are passing by too fast for me, and I've only had three weeks in the new job. I like it, but it's very tiresome. I'm still getting used to it.

The new phone is great, I played all weekend long and loaded up my contact list and stuff. It's kind of depressing to see that my list of work related contacts more than doubles my personal contact list.

Well, I finally did it. Actually both my wife and I did it. I feel like a seven-year old with a brand new toy.

I am

I'm not.
I buy.
I pay.
I can.
I won't.
I do.
I don't.
But not now.

Mobile phones and me

With the new job the use of my mobile phone has increased a lot. A LOT. Being on the street all day forces me to resolve everything with my mobile phone. I'm very tempted to buy a new one, this is the one I like: Kyocera Blade.

I love gadgets. If I were rich I'd have every gadget available. I haven't been using my PDA lately, but I think I may end up using a lot now when I get fully organized. I love my current phone, but I'm getting tired of the monochromatic display and beeping sounds. The odd thing about gadgets is that one doesn't really need them, or if one needs them they don't have to be so fancy, but they are enjoyable anyway.

I'm tired.

Home Remedy #3455 and a dead guy on the road

I'm not a fan of home remedies, but I just rubbed my feet with Vick VapoRub and they feel like new after a while. Really nice if your feet hurt from a long day of work, driving, and stuff.

The new job has been good so far. There is a nice satisfaction at the end of the day when I get back to the office and input the purchase orders into the system. Bringing the dough to the company, that's it.

On the other hand, the traffic is killing me. And today I was stuck for over half an hour in heavy traffic in the highway. The reason, a dead guy in the middle of the road. Apparently it was a biker that either fell off the bike or got run over by a car. Poor guy. I know it's a bizarre thing to keep count of, but it's the third dead man I see in a road in my life. The first one was really nasty, all bloody and twisted from being run over. The second was what I thought was a murder, cause there was blod everywhere and he was found in the side of the road. And now this one. And that's not counting a woman who hung herself from a tree and killed hereself. So make that four, then.

And the good news is, that I have to thank Cyn for posting an Illo contest that already inspired me to enter and break my streak of missed contests. Thanks Cyn!

I'm tired... I mean really tired.

So I started on the new job. The new job in sales. I had a feeling it was going to be tough, but I was wrong. It's more than that. I'm really, really tired, and it's just been one week. But so far I can't complain, I've liked it. The hardest part has been adjusting myself to the new schedule, cause being out on the street all day can be exhausting. I'm getting up at 5:00 am to get to the office at 7:00 am, and getting back home at 8:30 pm. Hopefully once I get the handle on things I will be arriving home around 6:00 pm or around that time.

Also I've been having to wear a necktie because I'm meeting my clients. I can't even make the knot right, so I had to practice a little. I found a couple of tutorials on necktie knots, which is another example that anything can be found on the net.

I have a couple of merchandisers that I get to boss around, so that's cool. They are in charge of filling up the shelves when the products arrive to each supermarket. If they fall behind on their schedule, I get to yell at them. Well, not exacly yell, but I get to practice being the big bad bossy boss.

It's going to be a long 12 months in this. Hopefully I'll survive.

That's right, I'm back

Well hello again.

Long time no see, huh? Yes, it's good to be back. Come in, have a drink. PiƱa Colada? I'm sorry, I left them all in Aruba. Awesome drink, by the way.

Four days in Aruba were better than expected. It's not that I thought I was going to have a bad time, but when you're forced to travel and spend all time with your workmates, well, things can look pretty lame from the beginning. But it was alright. The sun was too hot though. I did get a bad sunburn.

The funny thing about Aruba, and most Caribbean islands, is that they're all pretty much the same. So why would a person want to go to a specific one, I don't know. They all have the white sand beaches, the drinks, the food, the shopping, the casinos. And in all of them you're going to sweat like a pig, get all badly sunburned, and get drunk.

So I'm back. Bak, back, back... Today was holiday here. Wanna know what holiday? Independence Day. Yes, venezuelan independence day is July 5th. Funny, huh? I guess they wanted to be funny in some way and make it the 4th like the US, but perhaps something got in the way and they had to postpone until the 5th.

We've watched a lot of movies recently. Some good ones, some not as good.

In theaters, Spider-Man 2. Cool! Kickass action, great special effects, a bit slower than the first one, I loved it, but I think I'm sticking with number one.

Then we rented, and we rented a lot:

Punch Drunk Love... P.T. Anderson written all over it. Bizarre direction, nice cinematography, great acting by Adam Sandler in my opinion. But it left me wondering, like Lost in Translation did. Kinda like those movies that don't really have a plot, but they're good in a strange sort of way.

Win a Date with Tad Hamilton... My wife picked this one. Overall a funny movie, not memorable though. I love it when she picks this funny movies that nobody knows. It's about this girl that wins a draw and the prize is a date with this hot actor called Tad Hamilton. The guy falls in love with her, but at the same time her best friend has a life long crush on her, and she doesn't know. A lot of stuff happens, and she gets together with her friend, and they live happily ever after.

The Cooler... I like William H. Macy. The guy is a great actor, and he didn't disappoint me in this one. I liked it a lot, Alec Baldwin was great too. Somehow I thought this movie was a comedy, but it isn't. I don't know, The Cooler sounds like the title of a comedic movie, but what do I know. I had read good reviews about it before I saw it, but never actually knew what the plot was about.

I hope you like the new look of the blog. If your eyes are burning, let me know. I'm still trying to come up with a decent background, but I haven't had enough time lately for these sort of things.

Now playing: Nothing.
